At Unity Church of Clearwater we provide loving childcare for infants and toddlers and age-appropriate spiritual education for children and youth from preschool age through high school age!

News:
Our Youth Ministry has launched its Youth Ministry Awards Program for Truth Students of all ages. Part One, Unity Basics, was released at the beginning of August. All parents, guardians, and interested Truth Students of all ages are invited to stop at the information table outside of Peace Chapel for information flyers. The first award for all participants to earn is the G.I.M.F.C.A.P. award.  This award teaches Unity's basic beliefs as seven principles. Students earning this award receive a "G.I.M.F.C.A.P. Cap." As they earn other awards, they will receive special pins to add to their caps. Awards are presented to students in front of the congregation on Youth Sundays (3rd Sunday of the month) following Stump the Minister. For more information, please see any of our Youth Ministry teachers. This program is open to all ages.

Awards Program

The UCC Youth Ministry Awards Program is designed to
help young Truth Students learn about Unity’s teachings through both study in Sunday School and with their families at home. Families are encouraged to help their young Truth Students study the award program materials.

The Awards Program consists of forty awards.

While most of these awards are fairly simple, and suitable for all ages, some are designed for more advanced students, those who can learn on an adult level.

The Awards Program is designed to help Truth Students learn about themselves and their faith in a fun way. Students who master the materials will receive special recognition in the form of awards for their hard work. Awards are presented to Truth Students in the Sanctuary on Youth Sundays following “Stump the Minister.”

Stump The Minister

Once a month during both services all of our kids are invited into the Sanctuary to "Stump The Minister." Before the service we choose an item (yo-yo, plastic dinosaur, empty cardboard toilet paper tube) and place it in a box. Then Leddy gives a short spiritual lesson based on the item in the box. She never knows ahead of time what the item will be and she's never been "stumped," but it is always a fun (and educational) time. 

Teen Night

Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM our kids get together at the church for a little fun and social time.

All kids ages 13-18 are welcome.
